Mr Harrison will appear on the eBikes in the UK: Safety, Perception, and Building Trust in a Growing Market panel in Manchester and London, speaking alongside Peter Eland of the Bicycle Association.

The sessions will take place at iceBike* Manchester at the National Cycling Centre on Monday 9 February and at iceBike* London at the Lee Valley Velopark on Friday 13 February.

The panel will explore regulation, misinformation and legal compliance, while highlighting initiatives including the E-bike Registry and the E-bike Positive campaign to support responsible retailing.

Jonathan Harrison, Director of the ACT, said: “I’m very excited to be among such well respected and perceptive voices from across the cycling industry at iceBike* 2026.

"Events like this are hugely important for sharing knowledge and tackling some of the key challenges facing the e-bike market, and ACT is really looking forward to engaging with IBDs and, hopefully, plenty of our members across both shows.

iceBike* 2026 runs across two venues, with the Manchester show taking place on Sunday 8 and Monday 9 February before moving to London on Thursday 12 and Friday 13 February.

Organisers Madison and Sportline say the 2026 event will place greater emphasis on interaction, with panels, interviews, talks and booth demonstrations designed to encourage learning and collaboration.

Among the headline sessions is Shimano’s daily launch presentation led by Julian Thrasher, offering retailers an early look at key product developments for 2026.

Visitors can also attend the Park Tool Mechanics Masterclass, featuring spoke tension training delivered by Truman Purdy in Manchester and Calvin Jones in London, marking Jones’ forthcoming retirement.

A wide-ranging speaker line-up across the two venues includes Ed Clancy OBE, Trudy Harrison, Dr Will Norman, Dominic Langan and Julian Thrasher.
