Sherwood Pines Cycles announce Diamondback and Haibike demo day

Posted on 31 Oct 2013

Sherwood Pines Cycles in Mansfield are proud to be hosting a free trail centre demo day with Diamondback this November.

On Saturday 9th November Sherwood Pines trail centre will be giving mountain bikers the chance to try out some of the latest Diamondback bikes they could upgrade to when they make their next bike purchase.

Diamondback's sister company Haibike will also be in attendance with some of their latest bikes too.

Diamondback are bringing a selection of bikes including their full suspension Mission and Sortie models featuring their Knucklebox technology system along with some of their 2014 29" Hardtail bikes.

Haibike will have a selection of models including e-bikes and high end carbon full suspension bikes.

Dan Mottishaw from Sherwood Pines Cycles said "I'm stoked to have the support of Diamondback and Haibike who are organising this demo day. Their 2014 bikes look awesome and are more than a match for Sherwood Pines trails so we're expecting riders from near and far to come and have an awesome thrash-fest!"

The event will run from 9.30am on the day and will have staff on hand to provide information about the bikes and set people up to have a go on a short demo loop.

Members of the Diamondback and Haibike product teams will also be on hand offering riding tips and finding out how the bikes perform as they plan their 2015 models.

Bikes can be taken for hour-long demo rides between 9.30am until 2pm. Riders should bring photo ID (driving licence or passport) to leave as a deposit. We would also recommend that people bring their own helmets and pedals, however the bikes will be fitted with standard platform pedals should you not have preference. Helmets will be available to borrow from Sherwood Pines Cycles. We recommend bringing your own trail tools (multi tool, tube, levers, pump) with you when riding.

MOON-LIT EVENING RIDE

At 3pm Sherwood Pines Cycles will be organising a special evening ride with all bikes fitted with Moon's high powered lighting units. The led ride is expected to cover 15 miles through the challenging terrain of one of Britain's most famous forests.
