Kickstart Scheme - UK

The Kickstart Scheme has now closed for all new applicants and for any young person who has not yet started their role (i.e. they did not start their role before 31st March 2022).

Those who made successful applications and have completed the required steps may continue to receive funding for six months since the start date of the young person in their role, providing they have told the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) that the young person has started their job, which needs to be done by 30 November 2022.

The Kickstart Scheme in the UK provided funding to create new job placements for 16 to 24 year olds on Universal Credit who are at risk of long term unemployment.
