Job Description
Do you love bikes and want to work with a team of bike enthusiasts? Are you a Cytech technical level 2 qualified mechanic looking for a job in Cheltenham?
If yes, this could be a great opportunity for you to join the super-friendly, bike mad team here at Williams Cycles. We are really proud to remain a wholly family-owned and led business who have been here in Cheltenham for over 100 years! We are looking for a new team member to join us in our cycle workshop during Summer 2023.
• Workshop technician – until end September 2026, with potential to be extended.
• 3-5 days per week (work schedule can be discussed and agreed – we are flexible).
• Performing a range of workshop duties as a member of our in-house team of mechanics, including pre-delivery inspections of bikes.
Whilst this role is based in the workshop, we expect all members of our team to provide excellent customer service, maintain visual merchandising and generally work together to ensure that the shop remains a great environment for colleagues and customers alike!
Skills/Experience Required
• Cyctech technical level 2 qualified
• Experience working as a worshop mechanic/ technician would be an advantage but not essential
• Confident performing pre-delivery inspections on bikes and able to liaise with your fellow mechanics and the workshop manager to escalate where needed.
• Able to work well as part of team with ability to converse with customers and sales team colleagues
