Cycle Technician / Retailer

Duties include: the assembly of new cycles including e-bikes, repairs to a diverse range of cycles, serving customers as we operate an open workshop and occasional retail duties. We also deliver basic maintenance tuition to our customers. The sucessful candidate would have the confidence and aptitiude to help develop this programme further.

Cycle Heaven is one of the North's largest cycle retailers. York is a high class Northern town and one of the UK's busiest cycling cities. It's a great place to live and work with great cycling country, a beautiful urban environment and good nightlife that's well connected to other great places (by train - 105mins to London, 22mins to Leeds and 50mins to the coast).

We are looking for a team player who is passionate about cycling; a person of sterling character with a demonstrable mechanical aptitude and competence, plus a familiarity with all the systems on modern bicycles. A clean driving licence would also be very useful. The successful candidate will work at all three of our stores including our exceptional large flagship store with a lively cafe; Cycle Heaven at the Station, and also in our neighbourhood workshop attached to a cafe-bar - CH at the Angel.
